Sales of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in Western Europe are projected to exceed 1 million in 2021. Experts expect the share of battery-powered vehicles to increase to 19 percent in Europe by 2025. While the breakthrough in electric car sales was largely based on government subsidies, 6.7 percent of the 12.3 million vehicles sold in Europe in 2020 were powered by batteries. Charging units are not common

In the survey, 40.1 percent of the respondents strongly agree with the statement “electrics are more economical than others”, 16.3 percent do not agree at all. When the participants are asked which vehicle they will buy, 37.5 percent say they would prefer TOGG. 15.9 percent choose the Mercedes EQC. This is followed by BMW 13, Hyundai Ioniq, Renault Zoe.
Makes you think maintenance cost
In the research, the rate of those who absolutely agreed with the statement “Electric cars are dangerous” was 13.3 percent, and the rate of those who did not agree at all was 50.4. While 25.3 percent of the participants strongly agree with the statement “maintenance is expensive”, 23.9 percent disagree at all. This shows that the consumer is not sure about the maintenance fees of the electricians. 26.6 percent of the participants definitely agree with the statement “Not suitable for long distance”. 23.1 percent disagree with this statement at all.
