With its 70-year history and more than 10 million sales units in 170 countries and regions, Land Cruiser is among the important vehicles of the brand. The completely renewed Land Cruiser will be the new flagship of the SUV product range with its LC 300 version. With the new Land Cruiser 300, Toyota has taken its familiar qualities of being strong, tough, durable and reliable even further. In addition, the LC 300 also enables its users to tackle any route with ease with its improved off-road and road performance.
Lighter, more efficient
The new Land Cruiser has become 200 kg lighter than the previous version. The new suspension system, which was tested with pilots with Dakar Rally experience, provided the vehicle with high capacity and easy control for the driver on and off the road. The Electronic Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (E-KDSS), which is included in the new Land Cruiser for the first time in the world, provides optimum vertical wheel movement and improves road holding on difficult surfaces. The new Land Cruiser 300 is also the first Toyota to be equipped with a Multi Terrain Monitor. In this way, the image of the road surface, the surroundings of the vehicle and the position of the tires can be seen in real time. The Multi-Terrain Selection system determines the condition of the ground surface and automatically selects the most suitable driving mode, providing ideal handling.
It has a 3.5 liter engine
The Land Cruiser’s evolving driving dynamics are supported by the new V6 twin-turbo 3.5-liter petrol and 3.3-liter diesel engine. Both engines are paired with a new 10-speed automatic transmission. With the new transmission, 10 percent lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions have been achieved compared to the current model.
The new Land Cruiser 300 also retained the dimensions, approach and departure angles of the existing model so that the vehicle can be precisely positioned for off-road driving. In addition, the New Land Cruiser has taken an important step in safety by offering active safety and driving aids updated with the second generation Toyota Safety Sense system. In addition to advanced accident prevention features such as the Front Collision System, the new Parking Support Brake can also prevent possible accidents by recognizing the obstacles in front and behind while parking the vehicle.
